SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

:o :o :o That looks great man, it's really cool seeing a trailer with rear loading ramps. I don't see a lot of those on tri-axle lowboys on the East Coast. I was curious if you had any plans for oversize (i.e. wider than the trailer) type loads?

Technically speaking, the bulldozer already fits that description (it requires flags on the blade at least). I also have a variant of the trailer configured with the outriggers extended, so I definitely haven't ruled it out. I want to see what the rescaled map will accommodate before I start doing anything too crazy though. ;)

Coincidentally, those are built in Lake Wales, Florida. About 15 miles from me.

This is perhaps too much to ask, but can you make transport hawbks dalton map?? It would be a great addition to there.

It is fairly simple to put any trailer you want, all you have to do is set up the companies.

Nothing worth showing, unfortunately. I'm just gradually picking away at remodeling and unwrapping things, while I rethink my texture/material approach. It's one of those things where it looks much worse in the process of making it better. Plus, another trailer project has been distracting me. :P

Here's a look at something that some might find helpful though: the 'fakeshadow' (more properly, it's the upper boundary for the extended shadow volume). This trailer required me to get a little creative because of the shape through the trunnion. The upward-facing surface of the boom well is lower than the underside of the fenders. If I were to place the fakeshadow surface at the fender, the boom well would be incorrectly shaded by the extended shadow. If I were to place the fakeshadow surface below the boom well, there would be a really awkward unshaded (bright) area under the fenders. So what did I do? I did both by splitting up the surface. It seems pretty obvious in retrospect, but if you've only ever seen SCS' fakeshadow surfaces, you may not realize that they can be more complex without anything blowing up. ;)

Really nice fakeshadow approach! Thanks for the explanation.
