[REL] Alutrec Flatbed [1.1.5 - 13/06/2022]

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Or because it's what he feels like working on... 'cause it's a hobby. ;)

I suppose he doesn't like monotony much, it's not a few day's work creating trucks and trailers especially since he usually creates models from scratch. Modding is less of a job and more of a hobby, where you aren't bound to one project the whole time. I wouldn't think somebody would only make one quilt at a time or force themselves on to one piece of art at a time either.

I do trust him to release at least some of his stuff, he did show us that he does release stuff from the Scot, some trailers, and the tires mod, plus he did do a ton of modding for 18WOS as well.

The joys of poly-reduction: You can spend weeks on it and the result looks the same as what you started with ...or so you hope. The poly count for the trailer itself is sitting around 19k tri's with a final target of 25-27.5k. It's a little higher than I usually go, but there's only so much you can strip away before you land in boxville.

I have the majority of the existing trailer model UV mapped and textured/baked, and I've started on some tool boxes. Next up will be the toolbox hardware and some dunnage racks for the other side. I've also had it out for a drive or two and it seems to behave itself.

Awesome! Nice to finally see your 385 steers as well.

Any plans for a 1-3-1 or 1-1-3 configuration?

I'm considering (teetering?) doing a 53ft version with 1-3-1 (SPIF 4) because those are just too much fun. We'll see.

Definitely looking forward to adding this to my Canadian trailer collection!

I wish SCS would continue up the coast and do Washington and British Columbia after Oregon. Some more terrain and landscape diversity, and a chance to make ATS go international. Plus I wanna have garages and trucks in Canada. :P
