Fruehauf Dryvan 1951 Version 2.2 for 1.40

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

One must also consider that the tires used on these trailers back then appear to be larger in diameter than todays tires.

A 1952 Kenworth had 24.5” tires, and the trailer tires appear the same. Same as today. They were narrower, however that isn’t what we’re seeing here.

Hello Selonik, in the future, could an advanced coupling be installed? Thanks

muerteh 650 I'm sorry but I didn't understand what kind of clutch you were talking about.

He's talking about the airline & Electrical hook-ups. ( "Advanced Coupling" )
Also about the tires: SCS uses the newer 22.5 tires while back before the early 90's 24.5 were the norm.
To have the right tires you would have to model them. ( There are a few mod's that have had this done. <the Kenworth K700 for one>)

Thank you. Nice to have an older trailer to use with the little old iron that is slowly making it's way into the sim.
Maybe some day someone might make a map mod without so many Interstates, So we could visit the dawning of modern trucking.
