Splendid work again, it sounds like the real deal and man that turbo sound is amazing. The thing that almost nobody gets right when making sound mods is the volume of the engine sound, these are modern engines and are not too loud but still under load you can feel the deep background sound they produce, you captured it beautifully and it really feels like sitting in a T range when using this mod.
@Derwin Do not accuse @zippe of anything, whenever I see him post, it is either a really cool picture or he has something relevant to say. You on the other hand just post for the sake of posting and this is god only know what time that you have been in some kind of argument.

Let's just say it's Renault's signature just like the Renault magnum has the fan sound as it's signature and the Renault Range t DTi13 has that high noise as it's signature.
Its alternator noise and every truck has it... If you think that one from Volvo engines is bad, you should hear one on actros that has almost like coil whine sound... Now, im not expert on Fmod mixing, but I somehow doubt you can isolate this sound from engine sound as its not separate sound as turbo is, you can lower high frequency, but as kriech said, then you mess up whole sound as equalizer is not selective on just one source...

Potentially it could be moved to another channel, say the effects channels. That way I can be lowered and keep the engine sounds, and only reduce secondary effect sounds. But I dont know F-mod so no idea how that is "doable".

@kriechbaum Don't want to be a nitpicker but..I have a balance issue with the engines. DTi11 is one to the left, DTi13 is one to the right on the balance settings. Not a big deal as I can move my sound balance around but thought I should mention it. UK cabin btw, in case that is important.

This sound nice. the old imported D13K was more pleasant, but realism beats pleasantry.

Anyway, one question, Mr. Kriechbaum. I remember you saying that you like to tune the sound for the default volume settings. However, a lot of your updated or new mods for 1.39 - 1.40 are quieter that those made for 1.37 - 1.38, including this DTI 13. Is this your choice and the future updates for your mods still on 1.37 - 1.38 will also tone down the volume or is this a minor mishap?

^I notticed it to and I like it, sounds more realistic.

And it should always be like that, balance the sounds in FMOD so that all are heard correctly at 50%, then the user can reduce or increase the sound from the game options to their liking :)

Other mods (unrelated to Kriechbaum) require increase or lowering some sounds in the game options (recommended by the modder), and this is annoying, continually modifying the sound options depending on the engine/truck being used, it doesn't make sense.

Hi @kriechbaum, one simple question. Which model of the airhorns is chosen in the video to sound like that? Thank you!
