Renault T sound mod Release 2021/04/18

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

I can't really grasp how much 2 dB means, but if this was a soundmod for 1.36 or older, I would have increase the sound with something like 10-12%

Sorry for starting this volume discussion, but I see you like consistency and I though it worth bring it up. :)

In the interview they mention that the T evolution is quieter than the previews versions. can we have both louder for the old, quieter for the new?
There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

It's possible but a lot of work for just one small detail.

Personally I'm content with the sound as it is.

Probably a technical limitation... I have yet to hear an engine in-game (whether it be a mod or SCS' sounds) where the transition between idle and non-idle is perfect. The idle sound keeps playing up to 200 rpm above idle without changing pitch, both on rev-up and -down. I guess it would take a sample every 20-50 rpm near idle to improve this?(in theory, not asking for it)

All mods made by kriechbaum are fantastic get you really immersed in the game can’t drive a truck without it.
The only fear I have when a new version of the game comes SCS will change something in the fmod and make the sound mods obsolete again. Like what happen moving from 1.37 to 1.38

Well, when that happens I know I wont playing this game as long as kreich and some other sound moders dont update their own sounds, and its really sad, because nobody can tell me that SCS cant do at last good engine sounds, when moders like kreich do it within their own free time and with way more limited resources and equipment...

Okay, here's the two engines sounds with +2dB volume.

I'll also keep the first version for those that prefers it.

@kriechbaum In your opinion (because you had driven the real truck), which version is more realistic?
