Scania \8/ sound mod Update 2021/03/06 Version 11.5

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Engines never sound as they should only by throttling up at the parking lot. They need it to pull a heavy load to really get the full picture.

hopefully a release for 1.39 will be on the cards so the RJL can keep its roar :D

@kriechbaum can you also add the R700 to folders list as well please when you update it for 1.39 as my second fav scania will go mute otherwise :-( (and there are NO engine mods for it ) however with the recent change, i fear it updating it to 1.39 may not be as easy as it was for you to go from 1.36 to 1.37, at least we had a base sound but on 1.39 every mod looses ALL sounds so you may have to re-record EVERYTHING

Is there a way that the open pipe sound can support the 4 series versions? I have tried every single conceivable method of trying to do it myself to no avail. They either use the default SCS sound or kriechbaum's 2016 V8 sound.

Is there any way to get it work with Scania Drivetrain Revision by galimim?

I dont know but what happend with this fantastic sound???? Its like two sounds in on and an anoying echo!!!!
