So Now I have a question. If I download the updated fix again will the sound still be the same and will the Eugene Volvo one still work without issues? So far I am not touching the SCS Volvo anymore because I am missing something for it.

if you have galimims drivetrain mod you need to edit the sound mod, rename the sound_d13k. to sound_lo, make a copy and rename the copy to sound_hi and delete the engines in the mod

now we already have more modable sounds but still custom names are in use, making soundmods not compatible with other engine/transmission mods without user editing first, why did SCS then even bother with the changes if it didnt improve compatibility

the fan noise, does it also abruptly start on the real trucks ? shouldnt it ramp up smoother, for me it is to sudden that the fans kick in

It is a modders decision. Kriechbaum could use stock names to link his sound mod, and there would be no issues what so ever. He could just mod stock .soundref files to point to his soundbank and would be fine.

Hello Kriechbaum, amazing mod. Are you ever going to make FH 2009 sound mod? Like either updating open pipe volvo fh 2009 sound u made or make a whole new stock sound? Thanks for this amazing mod again.
