This is a brilliant mod that I've been using since Stewen released the first version ages ago.

It's great to see it updated!

However, I have found that there is a problem with the wind sound in my game where, with this mod, that sound ends up becoming a very low quality 'hissing' type sound. I've just found a No Wind sound mod, so I'm going to try that in combination with this one, and see if it solves my problem.

It did not work in Scania RJL 1.2. Mod very good, congratulations!

It was not made for RJL's Scania so of course it wont work.

You have to edit the mod like I did and add his Scania into it for it to work.

I will be honest here though. I do get annoyed at these sound mod makers. They add every Scania out there EXCEPT RJL's R making me have to edit the mod myself to get it working.

My main truck is RJL's excellent Scania T, and as it says in the 1st post, this mod won't work with that. So I use Kriechbaum's awesome V8 sound mod instead.

While I'm saving up to buy my Scania T though, I use this mod while doing quick jobs...

Okay, I tried a couple of mods to get rid of the wind sound, but neither of them worked.

I also tried starting a new profile, because I have manually edited a couple of sound levels within one of the lighting mods I am using, but sadly, I still get the horrible 'rustling' sound. Does anyone else get this with this sound mod, or is it just me?

I don't get the wind rustling noise, if I do, it's not loud enough for me to notice over the truck sound. I just found this mod today and I have only used it with the Daf XF.

So what exactly is setting this mod apart? Does it use telemetry data to adjust the sound rather than a simple "RPM x= this sound"?

The mod only uses standard interface, no SDK/telemetry.
I just combined, tweaked and edited existing sound mods. Basis is from Stewen and SCS, combined with engine sounds from paulnice (you can find them also here in the forum) and various other ones...

Well you've done a great job. I can feel the engine load up as the turbo's spool louder and louder and I pull up hills. Bang on job.
