Scania DC13 engine sound mod 3.0 release 2020/11/22

The engine sound is at a correct level for a modern truck. The other sounds are unrealistically loud. Robinicus sounds are extremely loud. If you have music blasting in your car do you hear the engine? or the environment?

You can edit the volume in the def file of the mod if you like.

For me the sounds from Robinicus are also very loud. How can the volume be edited in the def file?

@thesimp unpack mod with winrar or any other extractor, go to Scania_DC13_engine_sound_2.0.scs\def\vehicle\truck\((your truck))\engine. Open the sii file of the engine you use with notepad. edit the volume. save and pack the mod again. you have to experiment a little until you find a volume level that satisfy you.

Congrats, you now have engine with a smaller displacement. Either tune the volume in UI or directly in FMOD.

First of all, thank you very much for this sound mod, I absolutely love it.

Second, while I do love this sound, I'd personally prefer having it in my NG Scania S. Could anyone please tell me how I could "link" this sound to the NG V8? Or make the old V8 engines available for the NG Scania S in game? I tried doing it myself, but all I could come up with was a mod with no truck sound at all

@kriechbaum why dose the Sound dosent Work on Stock Scania R 2009 SCS because i chose a DC13 engine 440HP and there is no Sound diffrence i am playing on 1.38

Because its made for the DC13 490 engine!!!
