Daf XF 2021 & E6 Paccar MX 13 3.0 engine sound Release

I actually really loved the old mod for 1.38 but since it was accessed via modshop it now disappeared unfortunately. Would anyone still have this old sound mod as file and be able to share with me please? Thanks a lot!

@kriechbaum How did you get the high/low gearing gearbox?

@schoonen1996 Use a H shifter. In settings under controls, change transmission to H-Shifter. Further down you can select buttons for the range switch and the splitter switch.

@schoonen1996 Maybe if you can assign a key for every gear? I suggest you assign gears 1 up to and including 6 and a seventh for reverse.

When you choose a shifter layout, (in screenshot ZF8+1) the order of gears will be different then assigned but thats ok.

Make sure to assign 2 different buttons for the range switch and splitter switch.
You should not have the box below that checked like I do. I use actual switches on a shifter. With keyboard you will use buttons.

Is MX11 version work in progress for update to v1.39 ? I couldn't find in anywhere whether it's any different sound between MX11 and MX13 .

It's just the displacement MX11= 10.8l and MX13= 12.9l but the sound is the same

Actually the two engines are quite different (Mx13 with camshaft in the block and mx11 with double overhead cam, and various other mechanical difference that make the 11 sound more metallic).

hello, i'm very new to truck/sound mods, and i wonder how i can use this?
normal mods i just enable and they work.

now i have the standard Daf from ets2, can i use this sound mod for it, or do i need to install a truck mod too?

for now, i don't feel i have a different sound in my truck.

I saw that and maybe one day Kaptain will record the MX11 and including to this mod like he maked for the Renault T but yeah i've slighty heard the difference between 11 and 13 but the sound on the 11 is louder than the 13.
@Orsa1305 have you selected the engine in workshop from the game ? and also make sure the sound is above the mod (like Shumi's daf XF 106) because teh sound works fine on standart and modded trucks jsut the priority in the mod manager you should take the sound mod on top from modding trucks.

@Orsa1305 If you have enabled the mod you have downloaded here, when you buy(or edit) your truck(a DAF XF E6) you will need to select an mx 13 engine in the engines tab. Then you're good to go, you don't need a truck mod as this mod works with the standard scs daf. But if you have Schumi's truck, the mod will also work with his truck.
