While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

I have to disagree, as i did nothing to them, other than use them normally. I have also just downloaded other mods from this site to test and all open fine, again the only files i'm having issue with are these three from Kriechbaum, the latest uploads for MAN,Volvo & Mercedes sounds. The latest Scania & Daf sound files from Kriechbaum open fine.

it can only be an issue at your end, i just downloaded this mod (MAN) and opened it with 7zip without problem, the whole archive and the 2 archives inside it

Hmm very sad but I can only say that Kriechbaums mods work fine and I can open them without issues. I hope that you could fix it again so that it works again.

I noticed a tiny issue.
When using MADster's mod, no problem, the sound is clear. But when using the SCS Man euro 6, there's some parasitic noise on the turn signal sound. That's pretty weird because it's supposed to be the same sound used in both trucks, right?

I used MADster's mod and SCS truck in 1.39, then now only SCS one in 1.40, same issue noticed.

Yeah, I've noticed that too when using blinkers. It's annoying. :\

Here Kriechbaum gave fixed sounds with propper blinker sound. I'm using it on SCS TGX and works fine.
