@Frenchman - The brake whistle sounds are there, but like I said it's at a low volume and sometimes masked by the air brake sound. It's more of a bonus feature.

If I ever find a better method to include it I will let you know, but it seems tying it to the air brake sound is the only way. At least for AI traffic it is implemented with the normal volume

@Frenchman - If a sound event for it becomes available in the base game, it will surely make for an easy solution.

I don't know why the sound is only available to AI traffic and not our own trucks in the base game

Hello! I’m trying to install this mod and I have the latest version but for some reason it just won’t work. I see the videos and compare them and for some reason mine just sounds non existent. I’ve tried moving the priority all over the place but it still won’t work . Any solutions?

Having spent the last couple of weeks listening closely to the trailer brace sounds you added recently, I've determined that I do not like the louder, grinding one.
The quieter one doesn't bother my ears quite as much. I don't expect you to fix it just for me, but would it be possible to get a patch file that replaces the louder one with the quieter one?
Or one that keeps the quieter one and returns the SCS original one? I did not mind the SCS original trailer brace sound at all.

@KrysEmlyn - Good timing since I had an adjustment for it in the works. It's released already on the ATS Steam Workshop with v21.54. Update is pending for ETS2 though as I'm still working on something.

However if you don't like the one in v21.54, I can make a patch file on the weekend

Implemented smoother transitions for rain sound intensity.
New variations in sound of the standalone air horn (does not apply to the in-cabin view).

With certain camera views, the standalone air horn can be used creatively to output a different sound.
This includes:
1. Quickly using the horn
2. Laying on the horn
3. Using 1 air horn rather than 2
4. Taking advantage of the doppler effect, tunnels, or from being further away from your truck

i like the sound pack but it keeps shutting up the sound of my tires and engine +70mph :S
