I'm happy to announce a BIG update is coming to the Sound Fixes Pack today. It's actually a small change but it's a big deal for an ETS2/ATS sound mod.

It's a feature that I think has never been done before. I think you all will enjoy it!

Here we go everyone! The new feature is... SQUEAKY WIPER SOUNDS (with some conditions)!

Now in the mod, if you start a game session and turn on the windshield wipers when the windshield is dry, you will hear the realistic screech or squeak from the wipers wiping a dry windshield.
THEN when the rain makes your windshield wet later, the sounds will be the normal wiper sounds without the screeching and squeaking.

Unfortunately the dry wiper sounds don't return after the rain has stopped, but it should always work before the rain starts in a new game session.
This might be a nice little Easter egg for those who accidentally turn their wipers on. How cool is that?

This was so fun to add and it brings the game's realism to a new level. This feature should be compatible with a lot of trucks since most use the default wiper sounds.
For modders, these sounds are specified as follows:

	sounds[]: "wipers_up|/sound/truck/default/interior_wipers_down.soundref"

For more immersion with rain, I recommend the Realistic Rain Mod by Darkcaptain, which I use with lower priority than the Sound Fixes Pack.
It brings some beautiful raindrop visuals and complements this mod nicely.

Added possibility of dry wiper screech or squeak sound when you use the windshield wipers on a dry windshield (for default wiper sounds).
This will work at the start of your game session before it rains. It will reset to the normal wiper sound when the windshield gets wet.

@BenganJ - I just happened to have the idea after I launched v21.16 and was able to implement, test, and release the new feature one day later. It was too exciting to wait for next week!

I had the idea of some new sounds, you will tell me what you think.

By the time we get to a pump to refuel, it would be great if we could hear the truck door open, jump out of the truck and hear footsteps up to the pump.
After refueling, we hear footsteps again to return to the truck .... and you know the rest.
