Same thing for me, it would be so much easier to install a pack than Mods by Mods ;) .

@kriechbaum I completely forgot to get back to you. Very busy work week for me but I finally got a chance to use the N14. OMG is it music to my ears. Its a sound that you just have to jake every chance you get, lol. Hmmm mmm mmm. I'll download this new version eventually and run with it. But I'm super excited to see this back on the menu. Thanks a ton.

I love the New Cummins N14 According to the video I watched :)
I adapted all my custom made .sii files in the 3.5 pack over to the 3.6 pack since I had custom engines I created for myself for private use...
Anyways Love your work and keep it up @kriechbaum can't wait to see more when they come out :)

Thank you for the update Kriechbaum.
I've tried the N14 and it sounds superb although there is what I can only describe as a banging sound when I release the accelerator to change gear (not every gear change, but seems to alternate between a couple of different samples). I can hear it in your video too. There's a sound of air then a bang.
I'm using a headset and it's really loud
Is there a way to take this sample out at all?

I downloaded Fmod 2.01.05, was going to try to load the sound in and remove it myself but I don't seem to be able to when I navigate to the folder.

Thanks Kriechbaum, never heard that sound from a truck before, A Subaru Impreza maybe :), it's really loud in the headset but i'll have a play with the audio settings to see if I can dampen it.

@Wrighty The author recommends that audio faders are set to 50% - that is all the 'truck sound' ones. eg. Truck Exhaust, Truck Effects, etc.
The sounds are mixed and recorded for that setting. If any of the sliders are much louder than that, it can mess with the'mix' and unexpected results can appear.
I think I hear the sound you are talking about and I use headphones too but with sliders at 50% (even with Master @ 100) the gear-change sound 'blends in' with the other sounds.

On the first page of this discussion is a mod called "small additionnal sounds effects"
It improves the truck sounds that ar separate from the engine. I highly recommend it.
If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

Thanks @Room217au I've had the sliders set around that pretty much since they first appeared. I think i've already got the additional sound effects already but I will double check that. Pre Fmod i'd just edit the sound myself to remove it or dumb it down but i'm unable to open it to edit it now.
