Yes I hope too. I want that cat C15 straight piped sound to be back too. I miss that sound as well as other sounds he released.

Wow, this is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

One question though - why isn't this on Steam workshop? I'm sure it'd be wildly popular! There's one alternative mod that uses your sounds but also adds engines and that's what I'd like to avoid.

I haven't used any mods for quite a while, but the stock sounds for the Volvo and the Lonestar could use some improvement. With the Lonestar I only use the efficiency engines, which aren't supported by this mod yet. But the Volvo engine sound is excellent! :D

Just for curiosity I tried this one with a paccar engine (510HP / KW900) and noticed, that the automatic shifting points were changed, too. Is there a reason for it and can that be changed?

Anyway, the Volvo sound is great and I am looking forward to the Cummins efficiency one day (hoping that the automatic shifting points won't be changed... ;))!

I'm not sure why he does that, almost every modern truck shifts at 1500 most of the time to keep in the power band.

Depends.

Manufacturers tends to push it downward a lot, downspeeding is becoming more and more agressive

If @kriechbaum wants to do a x15 efficiency series, I can do another sessions of recordings. My truck I drive daily has this engine. Would be more than happy to do it.

That would be great! Let's hope for the best. 😃

And as I said, I hope the shifting points remain untouched... 😉

I'm going to do some recordings and see what we end up with. I drive a truck with the x15. It definitely has its own sound.

Don't we already have the Cummins x15 in the mod though? Its what I currently use for my Cascadia.
