Nothing happens @cip . We all make mistakes on a daily basis, although with time and the experience it improves. In your case, it was a tractor, but in my case a few weeks ago, something similar happened to me. When you pressed the escape key to return to the game menu and configure options, you still totally listened to the truck you were riding on. It didn't matter if you wanted to configure the video or key assignments, but the damn truck never stopped ringing, even looking at the map.
Bug fixed when I realized exactly the same thing that you said. I forgot to correctly route the sounds, XD .... :lol: :lol:

That shit almost drove me crazy, the truck sounded if I drove, it sounded if I looked at the map, it sounded if I was looking for cargo, it sounded sounded sounded :D :D

By the way, today I learned something new thanks to @Robinicus. Little by little we are gaining experience with the management of the program, but I still consider that we are apprentices, or at least I am. Some time ago I was told to make a horizontal zoon, press the left ALT key and with the mouse wheel wide or zoom out to the sides. Then I found out on my own that if you hold down the Left Alt key + the left mouse click, you can move the cast lines much more precisely. Let's say the magnet effect disappears, and you can position each fade exactly where you want it. It is also used to adjust the length of the file to a specific point on the timeline in a much more precise way.

And today, finally, robinicus solved the question about how to slide the entire timeline to one side or another without having to do it by clicking with the mouse and moving to the side you want to see. Hold down the left "Shift" key and turning the mouse wheel, slides you right or left on the timeline.

I can say that I learned something new today :lol: :lol:, I can also say that cip no longer sounds tractors on the desktop, and that my damn truck stopped sounding within the game options :D :D

nice shortcuts, thank buddy! I was also struggling with the mouse to move left right the timeline :lol:
for me now it's easier because I have many samples to copy/paste with different combinations, one or 2 engine sounds, multiple sounds on the same type (idle, low, high) with tweaked levels of pitch and sound level according to speed and also to revs. so once I have all the sounds for a project, the FMOD process is quick, just duplicate one existent similar project and replace the sounds then personalization at pitch and sound levels (depending on the sounds I have)

Cipinho, I'm using your density mod and for some time looking to download sound mods too. But 1st I need to ask you something.
I'm using more then one of Jazzycat's and TM's mods, so do I need to choose one of your sound addon for these packs or can I use all sound addons which I need?
And one more thing, I have Sound Fixes Pack from Drive Safely, is it possible to use along this sound pack with yours?

dear Poppy, my sounds can be used in combination with any other mods, inclusively Sound fixes pack and other traffic packs from Jazzycat and TrafficManiac. for 1.37 only the sounds for base game vehicles and Jazzycat trucks are available for public. the only rule is that addon for jazzycat trucks must be placed above the main pack. in combination with Sound fixes, the rule is to place above in the load order, the sound mod which you think it covers the traffic sound the best, for this you can check the sii files from def/vehicle/ai folder in both mods and identify which are the vehicles covered by both mods then test in game with different load orders and follow those vehicles to see which you like more ;)

Hey cip I keep getting this error?! and once I removed the truck sounds works fine for me.

I have the jazzycat pack as well as your traffic density and better flares too. but I deleted the vnl 780 from both jazzycat truck pack and better flares but still got the crash. then disabled the mod and game works perfect
at 1.37 though.
also have drive safely's sound fix .
and i've done the correct load order as you said.

oh and game sometimes crashed while on idle :!: anywhere really in the map at random :lol:

@likebubba where did you get my sound mod addon for jazzycat trucks pack ???? this error was in my first version but I corrected it in short time when people noticed this and reported. so the first page has been edited ever since, which is a month ago!

if there is no reference to the vnl 780 error will not show up and game will not crash ;)

Sorry to see that you're keeping your sound packs private from now on, especially after seeing how your latest ones (I use the steam versions) have turned out. I only have a single mod up on steam, and that has always been a worry that my weeks/months of testing and tuning the sound to get it "just right", would end up on a site, or in a paid mod for someone else's "glory"....and I still take the shit if it conflicts with something cause my names on it. I am really gonna miss those extra sounds, but I can appreciate why. Keep up the great work, and try not to let others bring you, or your amazing work down.
