SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

I love the effects this mod gives to ATS and have had it active for a long time, but is there any way to turn down the frequency of the fog? Seems I am driving in fog far more often than not (I'd say bout 75-80% of the time is in fog) and becomes impossible to see the scenery for a majority of the time I'm playing. To give an example, I picked up a load in central Mexico and drove it over 4,000 miles to Labrador City Canada. On that trip, there was only a couple of hundred miles spread out where there was not fog. If I drive for 12 hours, at least 8 is in fog and there have been times when an entire trip would be 100% fog, and I don't do short trips.

@ArtyCylinder875 No you cannot turn down the fog, unless you edit files manually. Thanks for the weather Fog feedback

How would one go about editing the files manually, and would that be difficult to do? I've never edited anothers work before so I have no clue what I'm doing with that lol.

Once you download and unpack it the file is named "ATS Realistic Brutal Weather V4 By Kass" but in mod manager appears like v3.9 again...
