Cascadia air horn sound for all trucks - ATS version (updated 14/08/2022) (1.45)

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

How did you change the horn sounds and get it to work? I'm trying to replace the 49x horn with a modded horn sound and can't seem to figure it out

I just edited the sound.sui found in def/vehicle/truck/[brand.model]/cabin, and changed this line

sounds[]: "air_horn|/sound/truck/air_horn/air_horn_09.soundref"
Where:

air_horn_09.soundref
Is the air horn for the cascadia.

So I guess if you want to have a truck to use your custom horn, you'll have to change that line in def/vehicle/truck/[brand.model]/cabin/sound.sui to point to your custom horn's *.soundref
