Crash after load session

#1 Post by littlefoot22 » 30 Oct 2016 19:48

Hi guys, I just reset my PC last night and reinstalled American Truck Simulator for a total of 4 times now due to this bug.

Bug:
Crash after loading profile (profile s clean and previous traces of game files removed)

Repro:
1. Launch ATS and go through to set up of profile
2. Set up controller mode and go through set up wizard (in my case)
3. Select default starting location (I choose Vegas)

Result:
After selecting start location the game will attempt to proceeed but about 7 seconds or less after loading, the game crashes every time.

Game Version:1.4.4.2s
Game Controller: Speedlink Drift O.Z. Racing Wheel
Screenshot uploaded with my PC information. If you require more information, feel free to let me know, thanks!

You should post the gamelog.txt and crashlog.txt located in your American Truck Simulator folder in your Windows Documents folder. You can use http://www.pastebin.com to do that.

Sorry about that. Here you guys go

I should also note that my world of trucks account was not connected which was yesterday, however when going to connect it I got an internal error. The error in the net.log indicated that "littlefoot22" (my WOT login) is invalid which it is because I am logged in to WOT with it here on the forums, thanks!

here is the net.log txt

This could be one of the reasons,

Code: Select all

00:00:00.305 : [dx9] Adapter #0: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family / 112 (1024) MB (igdumdim64.dll, 20.19.15.4444, 20160422)
but lets wait for the Orange Team to guide you to the light. :)

Have you tried the game without the controller?
Seems like your nick has a special character, hence the invalid error. Recheck/re-enter your WoT credentials in the game's profile page.

The crash is caused by the driver of your driving wheel. You can try to disable the force feedback effects in game.

Yep, after doing some testing of my own I removes the driver on my wheel, went to the site manufacturer and sure enough there was an update to the driver. Thanks a million for helping me out guys, cheers,

John
