I can not shift to neutral position (N) with Simple Automatic gearbox. In real life every gearbox shift to neutral (N). You can see my settings above. You might wonder why I need it. Because i want to use full throttle to fill in air thanks quickly when gearbox in neutral.
Version of Game: 1.5.3s
Platform: 64bit Linux
Reproducibility: always
Automatic Gearbox can't shift to neutral. [NOT A BUG]
Re: Automatic Gearbox can't shift to neutral.
Hey there.
You may try the "Real Automatic" selection in controls menu of the settings. You can put the transmission on whatever position you want with that selection. The only difference is you can't go reverse with brake pedal(or I might say brake button on your keyboard), rather you need to put the transmission in Reverse as you would do in real life.
If you are confused anyways, start the truck and use your shift up key as I see it's LeftShift for you then you're running. For Neutral use Num0 and for Reverse use shift down key as being LeftControl for you.

Simple automatic transmission is called simple, because it's simple If you want to be able to switch to neutral (which is considered not simple), you need to set real automatic, sequential or h-shifter.
