Maybe it looks like it but it is not. The problem here is NOT the spawn frequency (it is artificially increased by g_traffic cvar) The bug reported here is about barriers going down while the player is still inside the railroad crossing ;)

Even as I passed the railroad crossing, the barriers closed again. I was then trapped between the barriers and then had to close the game.

Very annoying bug, please fix it immedentially.

Note that this bug still exists in 1.30. At Santa Fe crossing the time between when the crossing lights start to flash and the boom gates close is far to short and often causes you to become stuck when hauling doubles.

I know it's hard to replicate but it does happen frequently.

Chain of events (Santa Fe Crossing):

Stop at red traffic light - traffic light turns green (railway crossing lights are off) - accelerate and as you pass the level crossing lights, they begin to flash - boom gate drops almost immediately and you are stuck.

Note that in the above scenario (which has occurred to me several times), when you pass the crossing lights, they are OFF. They begin to flash AS you pass the lights and therefore you are committed to crossing the intersection. There needs to be sufficient time between when the lights start to flash and the booms come down to clear the booms.

Yes, this bug persists in 1.30 and is very annoying.
