The backlight of the instrument panel does not work

When switching the light mode (Parking lights, low beam), the "instrument panel" does not respond.
What could be the problem?

Depends on what you mean by "instrument panel" and "doesn't respond". If you expect heavy lighting effects, forget it. And if you mean what I think you mean, press F4 and adjust the brightness the dashboard backlight.

What do you mean that it doesn't work? The backlight turns on when you start the engine.

IIlumination "instrument panel" must change when switching the main light. When the engine does not work, the backlight does not change.

there is nothing wrong

like many cars and trucks nowdays there is no headlight icon in the dashboard and the Peterbilt 579 doesnt has such icon so not a bug

the backlighting of the dashboard, ofc this has to be on even if the engine is not running

i checked it again, the instruments are lighting up when the headlights are on, but the brightness is so low its not really noticeable even if the brightness is 100% in the F4 options
