Game crashed on exit

Just had ETS2 crash on me for the first time in a very long while.

I pressed "Quit" to exit the game and it then immediately crashed displaying the "Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Steam has stopped working" box.

Completely clean vanilla game with all official Steam DLCs; not sure if it's related but this is the first time I've played the game since adding Special Transport this week.

Evidently it failed to open something at exit time... I don't know enough about the game's internals to guess what happened! Keep meaning to find out more.

In my extracted base I can find that '/prefab2/fork_temp/it/it_r1_x_r1_hw_1m_offset_tmpl.ppd' file, and it is bigger than zero.

Did you try to verify the game files, in the Steam client?

How about the whole game.log
If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

I played again yesterday (after reboot) and the game operated normally, no crash on exit (haven't verified the game or done anything to the environment except reboot/restart).

Apologies for only adding the "relevant" log section (ugh, what was I thinking), I'll try to add the full one later. Hoping it's on my backup server.
