Hi.

I find all 3 stock reefer units to be a bit of an eye sore. So i made this one ↓↓↓
It comes in 2 variants. Paintable, and white.
Also comes with the 3-color scheme shown below.

ATS 1.37 Downloadof_reefer_unit_1.1.scs - 2.0 MB
ATS 1.38 Downloadof_reefer_unit_1.2.scs - 2.0 MB

ATS 1.40, 1.41 Downloadof_reefer_ATS_140_141.rar - 486 KB

Version history:

- Added variant for the Custom 53' trailer.
- Added non-paintable, white variant for the SCS trailer.
- "3 colors" paint-job for the SCS trailer.

Update 1.2
- ATS 1.38 compatibility
- removed collision

- ATS 1.40 & 1.41 compatibility
- adjusted some materials
- changed logo & emblem. It's Thermo King now.
- Custom 53' trailer is no longer supported

In all of the references that i've found, this specific unit was always trailer color.

If it is at all possible, can we get this for the Custom 53?

@overfloater I think what you saw is the fact that the default colors for both units and trailers is white. In a lot, but not nearly all cases, the trailers could be a different color, but the unit would still arrive in white and at that point could be painted to match or not. The reefer unit would be installed by the selling dealer in most cases as the trailers are shipped from the factory without a unit typically. Until they two are sold there would be no way to know what color the unit would need to be. Many fleets that chose to paint their trailers would also choose to paint the units to match, but the unit was almost certainly white by default unless TK offered an option to paint at the factory, which is possible. Still, the default is white and that's most likely what a dealer would have on hand to sell with a new trailer. So neither option is really wrong here. It'd be cool to have a plain option, but it's nice to have the paintable one and that's the one I'd choose if I could only pick one.

As @racer7331 stated, that would be great if it was available for custom '53

A-WE-SO-ME!!

Just a question @overfloater :
from what definition/part name of the box trailer does it take the color?

Because I puzzled by the results on my paintjobs:

[ external image ]

... the "Bj and The Bear" trailer, it seems that get the colors from the "frontal wall" (... in my .ovr, it could be both "f_body.wind_def" or "f_body.paint"):

BUT in my "Transformer serie", the frontal walls (both kind) are grey...

... and the refeer unit is taking the color from the "accessories", becoming blue:

Basically:
... I would like to understand how to "pilot" the outcome, because, for example, I could like to obtain the "accessory look" for "BJ and the Bear" trailer (in that case, all red like the accessories), meanwhile, on the contrary, on the "Transformer" trailers I could like to have them colored like the frontal wall (in those case, grey)...
