To be honest, although I am not citizen of Iberia, I am an AI enthusiasist, so I'd like to share my opinion. For ambulances, there is also lot of difference in their appearance. There might be a solution for that - using Red Cross (Cruz Roja) ambulances as the generic one across the country.

This one from Pamplona (Navarre autonomous area) has really neat looking livery...

But based on my research, they usually have this simple livery graphics. Most common are Fiat Ducato and his PSA twins, Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

Spanish people, what is your opinion my suggestion?

Regarding to the emergency response cars we need to find some compromise, in case we don't wanna use generic cars.

So the main question regarding to this topic is:

 Is there some universal look for police / ambulance / fire truck we could use everywhere?
(I guess there is no universal skin for the whole country...)
Hi @Kraake

I understand that you need some compromise. I'm sure SCS had to do the same on other countries; although maybe not such de-centralized and "chaotic" like Spain. :D

Regarding emergency vehicles, the fire trucks should be the easiest ones. Almost everywhere they have the usual red look and then they could have additional reflective white or yellow decorations; but they are very "random" so whatever you choose will fit well enough.

Ambulances are a lot more trickier. Red Cross ones shown by @Dejf94 don't use to be related to road emergencies. Red Cross gives emergency services for events or other kind of situations that aren't 24/7. What he's right is on the van models used (i suspect that on lot of other European countries too). So, looking at the common aspect for the emergency ambulances in all Spanish regions, the most usual schema is a bright pale yellow as main color with some red decorations to increase visibility (squares, stripes, bands of parallel diagonal stripes...). In a few communities, sometimes the green color is used instead of red. A generic design that match those general guides should be enough.

About police cars, for 90% of Spanish territory the Guardia Civil cars are the ones dedicated to traffic control, security and emergency assistance. So is their vehicles the ones that must be depicted. Specifically, the GC traffic division used to drive several sedan models, but the latest additions have been all of the SUV type: Jeep Compass, Land Rover Discovery and Alfa Romeo Stelvio. You cand find lots of pictures on Internet and other people I think already linked them here.

As you use to include 2 different police vehicles per country (at least on big ones); you can use the second one for the Mossos d'Esquadra, that operate only on Cataluña (north-eastern corner of Spain). As I told before, the other main police force (Cuerpo Nacional de Policía, CNP) doesn't patrol roads specifically, so for this game you could avoid to include them without that absence be very noticeable. The same would happen with the Policía Foral de Navarra and the Basque Ertzaitza. The first one shares competences with GC, so in its territory the GC cars are more than OK. The second one operates independently in their territory, but as that's "small" at your scale and GC has a lot of presence in there (for other reasons); it would not be perfect but not so bad if there's no room to include them.

Regards

PS: Or if you don't put police cars at all in the País Vasco and/or Cataluña, so we could avoid fines there, that would be still better. :P

@Kraake
So I asked to my friend that he is a Guardia Civil de Tráfico and he told me that the most common car (of the new ones) they have right now is the Alfa Romeo Stelvio.

And a solution for the Basque Country and Catalonia... mhhh... use the same car (SEAT León), in fact they use the same model, so it's "just" a re-skin for the two cars. It will be very strange to see Guardia Civil de Tráfico in Catalonia at least for me...

For example, you can use this look:

- Police

- Ambulance (You can include 112 emergency phone and avoid red cross caracters)

Image

- Fire truck

A good landmark that could be added is the "Viaducto de Artedo", in the "Autovía del Cantábrico" (A8):

I'm sure that, when engineers and constructors built up the train viaduct on the right-down corner of the image, they cheered it as something remarkable. Nobody told them that several decades later, other engineers ansd constructors where going to make their bridge look like a children's toy.

Hey @plinio.lisboa.br did you read Kraake when he said there's no point into listing every single different ambulance of every Spanish CCAA? That hey can't put them all in the game?

The images that had ben already posted on here are more than enough to give SCS a glimpse of the usual looks of Spanish ambulances. Now they will have to do their own model that will resemble no one of those but something generic in between. There's no point in keep posting 20+ images of every one of the 17 CCAA ambulances.

Let's move to any other relevant topic.
