Good Morning!
My research tip for today; May 5, 2020, is just a playlist of road videos from the Kingdom of Spain.
And to highlight the magnificent work of youtuber Buer Mir, who continues to record the road over Spain.
So I believe that it can be extremely useful for SCS Software and its mappers.
So far he has 56 videos of routes taken.
So it's my research tip to use the videos of this youtuber on Spanish highways.

And Portugal, if I'm right, is the main world producer of that material. So, Iberia will concentrate probably over 75% of the worldwide production of it an it's a product usually hauled on trucks.

Also, it's a material VERY light and cheap; they have to seize the volume of the trailer as much they can to make the trip profitable enough. So, specially when hauling raw cork (big bark pieces directly from the tree), is usually loaded at hand into the trailer, piece by piece, stacking them from the floor up to the roof filling every space possible. There's a cork dealer at the side of AP-7 north Barcelona where those loads process could be seen from the highway. Sometimes I've pass by there when they were starting to load the trailer and when I returned from visiting my client the trailer was still being load.

That’s rather interesting. If hauling cork is so poorly paid (unless I misunderstood you) that they want to fill the trucks carefully to maximize volume utilization, I wonder if the labour to hand-balm it is very inexpensive, or else it would be expensive to load?
