Angel of the North is already in the game too.

Scammonden Dam/reservoir/bridge is also in the game as is the road split. They're just missing the farm from it, although since it is likely that the revamp will have a rescale to match the rest of Europe I do worry this whole area might end up being removed.

IMO it really needs to be in there in a rebuild, Scammonden Bridge on opening, was the longest single-span non-suspension bridge in the world and it is still the longest concrete arch bridge in the UK. So really deserves to stay.

On the M62 east of Manchester, there is a portion where the motorway splits around a farmhouse and several sheep pastures. This is a memorable landmark on this road with a handful of urban legends attached to it.

Good Morning!
yes, I agree with you, all of these milestones you have cited must be on the map of the United Kingdom.
are icons of this region, must be preserved on the map.
Yes these toll details should also be placed on the new UK map.
I found a video showing Booth Wood Farm and Dam, Ripponden.

The Farm for me should be functional in the game accessible only by car and mini trailer. I suppose it must be in real life.
SCS Software should do this, a sign of distinction for some places, trucks can't get in, but cars with mini trailers can.

TO THE NORTH EXTREME - U.K. PART 1.
We thus conclude the first (Durness - Ullapol) part of the great "northbound" route (A 838, A 894, A 837, A 835, A9)
The second part will focus on: Ullapol - Inverness.

[ external image ]

Drive from Durness to Ullapool - Scotland Durness to Ullapool, Scotland. Via A838, A894, A837, A835 (67 miles)
Wildlife (deer) 47:40
It is a landscapes route with a great diversity of beauties it possesses; native fields, improved pastures, villages, forests, mountains, lakes, road up and down, beautiful
curves, flowers, ruins, historical, many stopping points to observe the landscape.

The player or driver may encounter wildlife with the deer on the highway may find beautiful scenes of sheep grazing by the side of the road walking the highway some
sheep
with their lambs lying on the side of the road, reassure them, (not honking can scare you them, don't traffic fast), and be careful with the animals, it would be very
educational too.

After all you don't want to see an angry Scotsman at the door of your truck or pay a fine, and get the truck collected. And maybe it's stopped by the police.

Ullapool to Durness
----- DURNESS -----
It is the northernmost village of Scotland and the United Kingdom, so it is a very interesting point to be in the game as it is possible to access the route to the northernmost point of the Great Island of Great Britain.

Tinsley Viaduct
Tinsley Viaduct is a massive bridge that carries the M1 over the north side of Sheffield. It also features a complex junction underneath it, with a pair of roundabouts connected by a lower deck each featuring access ramps for the north and south side of the bridge respectively. There are several industrial estates, logistics warehouses and heavy commercial space surrounding it, plus an Ika Bohag. Noteworthy nearby landmarks include Meadowhall Shopping Centre and Blackburn Meadows Power Staton, with the viaduct separating them.

The Sheffield Supertram serves Meadowhall, and is visible from the bridge.

Can these videos help with any frame of reference to SCS Software because I typed viaduct and the rest of the name and some of these videos came up?
It is a very interesting place and it seems that there is a very nice roundabout that gives access to M1.

Here's a few things I'd like to throw in:

New Trailer Plates
Recently, the UK introduced trailer plates as part of accession to the Vienna Convention. However, unless the trailer is to be used in countries that require trailer registrations, trailer registration remains optional, but for the sake of the game (and due to the upcoming Iberia DLC possibly including Spanish dual plates - one red plate for the trailer, and one white plate for the towing vehicle), I'd like to see them being introduced. UK trailer plates use the format LNNN NNNN, where L is a random letter ranging from A-Z (presumably excluding I and Q), and N is a random number. Plates are square like the towing vehicle plate, but are coloured white like the front number plate, and usually mounted on the door - often on the upper or lower quarter. If the trailer plate cannot be mounted away from the towing vehicle plate, then a repeater plate is mounted on the front. Towing vehicle plates remain in the same place as they are.

Towing Vehicle Plates
The one thing that's bugged me ever since ETS2 first came out was the fact that the UK vehicle plate on the trailer is still the same shape as those on the Continent, when in fact, towing vehicle plates are square. I've never ever seen a UK trailer with a normal-shaped number plate unless the truck is a rigid.

Motorway Service Areas (MSAs)
In the UK, we have Motorway Service Areas that are never lay-bys with just a petrol station and a few parking spaces, and are fully-featured with many amenities such as restaurants, motels, large parking areas etc. Many MSAs have sliproads leading into them, but some are situated at roundabout junctions as well. There are various brands of MSA that operate across the UK, with Moto being the largest.

Smart Motorways
A recent-yet-contentious introduction to our motorways is the Smart Motorway. Smart Motorways have traffic flow control systems that consist of variable speed limits, hard shoulders that can also be converted into running lanes if necessary, and of course, speed cameras on gantries. As the UK currently stands in-game, the speed cameras on the motorways are unrealistic (never in my entire life have I seen a single Gatso on the motorways) and are in desperate need of being gotten rid of in favour of a more realistic setup. Most speed cameras on motorways are either those aforementioned gantry cameras on Smart Motorways, police patrols on bridges/laybys, or the dreaded Yellow Vultures (aka SPECS; average speed cameras).

Some researched videos that may contribute to the remodeling knowledge of the UK

Smart Motorways: Interesting things.
Gatso on the motorways:
Goodbye British punctuality - random event suggestion.
*** warning: video contains flashing light scenes not recommended for people who may have epilepsy. *** Of course ... "totally smart" the "system" simply left people standing idle for 15 minutes.
I won't make any other comments about the "smart road", but ... I just say, we have a nice random British event.
You know how it is ... good "cultural" legacy of the U.E to decrease British punctuality ... after all always "good" to waste a little time when, being late to deliver the cargo, is always something very "good".

With the edition of FMOD I am also hoping one of the improvements with road sounds will be the inclusion of Concrete roads such as the ones found on the M1 & A1(M).

If you've ever driven on a concrete bit of motorway you know it sounds significantly different.

As an example: https://youtu.be/tKuzsPwCjh4?t=480 --- Not the best audio, but you can hear a distinct different (8:15) when he changes from standard tarmac to concrete.

Concrete roads, anti-slippery tarmac, loose-material roads, bumpy roads, expansion joints on bridges, highly wet roads... They have room to improve in lots of things with truck-caused environmental sounds.
