State standards for traffic signs & road markings

Hello everybody

We have a BIG, BIG request we need some help with.

Each state has some kind of documentation (at least should have some) which specifies the standards by which traffic signs, road surface markings, and signals are designed, installed, and used. For example, there are MUTCDs in the United States.

There are different regions in Europe and that means different rules.

As we would like to check, eventually fix, or just get proper sources for upcoming DLCs, we are asking you to provide us some links, documentation, or just show the direction where to look, if possible.

In case we have documentation LIKE THIS we would be more than happy...

Sources including traffic signs & road surface markings are most wanted at the moment.

As far as Czech Republic goes, most info can be found on pjpk including the new standard for traffic signs - VL 3 and 6.1 as well as the general standards, namely TP 58, 65, 66, 100, 133 and 186. If the documets are missing, shoot an email at them, they provided me with VL 6.1 for my signs back in 2018 when it was not online yet. If you have more questions you can PM me (disclaimer: I do not work for them, I just did some research for my mod).

In Spain, we have the "Norma 8.1-IC señalización vertical de la Instrucción de Carreteras", which collect all the standards for traffic signs and road markings of the country.

@Kraake I hope here you'll find what you're looking for. Is a guide done by the Dirección General de Tráfico or DGT about vertical signs, which have some railcrossing signs, in chapter 4 at least. There is also some information about traffic lights.
