Re: [AI GENERIC] Ambulance looks update
Swedish ambulance has same look even if they are run by different companies and regions. It seems to be a variety of vehicle brands used, like anything goes

Re: [AI GENERIC] Ambulance looks update
Ambulances in Poland are white or yellow with reflective red and blue stripes. An obligatory element of the marking is the word AMBULANS on the hood and on the back (red or blue), the logo "Państwowe Ratownictwo Medyczne" (State Medical Rescue) (blue) on each side and the type marking of the ambulance (red) on the sides and on the back. Ambulances use blue lights.

Many photos of Polish ambulances can be found at: https://www.czerwonesamochody.com/categ ... cat_id=980
The type designation for an ambulance is a letter inside a circle:
(S) - Advenced Life Support, the crew includes a doctor and a paramedic
(P) - Basic Life Support, there are two paramedics in the crew
The most popular models are Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Volkswagen Crafter.
What I wrote are the general rules for the State Medical Rescue, there are local exceptions especially among private medical transport companies.
There is no separate painting scheme for ambulances from Warsaw (capital of Poland).

Ambulances in England in the UK are yellow with green and yellow battenburg markings along the side, on the front you will find 'AMBULANCE' in green and in both directions (so that can easily be seen in drivers rearview mirrors), you will also find the words 'EMERGENCY AMBULANCE' written on the sides usually somewhere near the top and usually in red or green, sometimes you will also find that regions trusts crest on the side as well, on the rear you will find reflective red and yellow chevron markings.
In terms of lights you will mostly find all blue although some have both blue and white flashing lights at the front and along the tops of the sides, at the rear you will also find blue flashing lights along the top although there are also red flashing lights here that are generally only used when stopped.

Re: [AI GENERIC] Ambulance looks update
To reinforce my earlier post: here is a generic ambulance that I happened to see yesterday (apologies for the lack of a rear view, I was in a hurry)

there are several types of ambulance, but the most common are undoubtedly the ASSU (Ambulance de secours et de soins d’urgence), the appearance of the ambulances differs from one service to another, but in most cases the blue cross is always affixed to the vehicle.

Re: [AI GENERIC] Ambulance looks update
I'd rather say that the Red ambulances, used by the fire department (pompiers) are the most common.Louno Trucker wrote: ↑17 Feb 2021 13:05 France

These are called the "véhicule de secours et d'assistance aux victimes (VSAV)" and these are actually already in game

Re: [AI GENERIC] Ambulance looks update
France
Now when it comes to France, it is pretty interesting.
In France, the Fire department also acts as an "ambulance" service.
Whenever there is an Accident/Incident, it is mostly the Fire department Ambulance that is dispatched.
Only if the situation is very dire and very high medical expertise is required, the SAMU mentioned by Louno Trucker is used.
(more info:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency ... _in_France)
Therefore, I think it is best to use the Fire Brigade Ambulance in the game (especially for the random events). This fire brigade Ambulance is also called the: véhicule de secours et d'assistance aux victimes (VSAV)
The current model that is in the game (the red one), is already pretty accurate.
The only thing that i would change, would be the model.
The current model is based on the Citroën Jumper.
However, the majority off these ambulances are a Renault, here are a few examples

On the "[AI GENERIC] Fire truck looks update" topic, Louno Trucker also gave some very good (even better and more detailed) examples of this VSAV, together with an explanation.
If you want more examples, you can google "VSAV Pompier"
As for Paris, the livery is very similar to the aforementioned examples. The only differences are some different decals and text.

Re: [AI GENERIC] Ambulance looks update
In fact I have already mentioned VSAVs in the topic dedicated to fire engines, but thank you for your references and attention for the Parisian vehicles .DangItBobby wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021 16:31 France

Re: [AI GENERIC] Ambulance looks update
United Kingdom
In England, ambulance services are regional, while in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland they are national. Mercedes Sprinter and Fiat Ducato-based ambulances are the most common.
England
In England, each Ambulance service uses very similar badges, generally with just the text in the middle changing. This is just one example:
[ external image ]
Ambulances are yellow, with a green and yellow reflective checkered pattern and yellow and orange chevron markings on the back. Text includes 'AMBULANCE' written forwards and backwards on the front in green, and 'EMERGENCY AMBULANCE' written in red on the sides and back. The sides typically display the NHS Logo, the Ambulance Service's name and their logo.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
London
Very similar to ambulances in the rest of England, but usually displays 'LONDON AMBULANCE' as text.

Scotland
This is the NHS Scotland logo, and the logo of the Scottish Ambulance Service:

Scottish ambulances are white instead of yellow.
[ external image ]
Wales
This is the NHS Wales logo, and the logo of the Welsh Ambulance Service:
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
Welsh ambulances are billingual, displaying 'AMBIWLANS' alongside 'AMBULANCE' on the front and rear:
[ external image ]
The side can be entirely in Welsh, with 'AMBIWLANS ARGYFWNG' written in place of 'EMERGENCY AMBULANCE' along the top:
[ external image ]
The side reads 'YMDDIRIEDOLAETH GIG GWASANAETHAU AMBIWLANS CYMRU' (Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust)
Northern Ireland
The NHS-equivalent in Northern Ireland is Health and Social Care. This is their logo, as well as the logo of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service:

Their ambulances are otherwise similar to those used in England.
