[MOVER CHARACTER] Firemen uniforms update

With gradual updates of our maps we would like to update our firemen uniforms.

Image

We are seeking references for different firemen uniforms for each of our already released countries in ETS2.

  • If possible, the main inspiration should be taken from the COUNTRY/STATE FIREMEN UNIFORMS.
  • In case there is no unified country uniform we would like to bend it a bit and create universal color scheme for each country.
We know there are usually different regional fire departments with unique uniform designs, so we can use some major type as an inspiration.
  • There are usually two main colours for modern uniforms - the dark bluish/black one & the mustard ones. Tell us which one to pick, please.
  • Details we are interested in are logos, writings, the reflection stripes (& their colours) and the helmet types (& their details as well).
  • We will be happy in case you can provide us some pictures from the front & back.
  • HERE is a little overview of released countries.

Thank you very much in advance!

Most dutch brigades are switching to yellow uniforms when they are working on incidents. This should become the national standard:

When at the station and in minor operational tasks they are getting these:

The currently valid pattern of special clothing in the State Fire Service (Państwowa Straż Pożarna) in Poland:
Image

Firefighters of the State Fire Service wear red helmets.
Image

Volunteer firefighters wear similar special clothes to the firefighters of the State Fire Service, but instead of the words "PSP" and "Państwowa Straż Pożarna" they have the words "STRAŻ", "Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna". Volunteer firefighters wear white helmets.

Both formations (state and volunteer) still use old black special clothes with reflective white and yellow stripes and the word "STRAŻ", but these clothes are consistently replaced with new ones.

France

Now France has some variations between uniforms.
The "light/off-duty" uniforms are mostly the same within all regions.
However, the "heavy/full-intervention" suits differ between the regions.
Some are fully orange (like Paris), others are more brown and others are black/navy blue. Even between these different colors, there are variations. For example: the way the reflective stripes are arranged.
However I think that as of now and in the near future, the black/ navy blue uniform is the most common version.
Below I will give a few examples of what I think is a good general solution for entire France and one for the Paris Region

Also in France, the fire brigades handles fires, as well as Ambulance services. So I will also give the uniforms for the Paramedics (of the Fire Brigade)

Firefighters uniform for Entire France
When intervening within Traffic, they must wear a high-vis vest when wearing the black/navy uniform (as that version isn't deemed visible enough on it's own)

This is the "heavy/full-intervention" uniform, that I think is a good representation of what the average French "heavy/full-intervention" uniform looks like. The only thing you have to do, is to remove the word "Nord" from the back of the coat (when implementing in game). The uniform belongs to the fire department of the city of "Roubaix"

The helmet that is used by this fire department is the "Gallet/MSA F1" in the color shiny chrome. This is also the most common type of helmet and color within French fire brigades

The "light/off-duty" uniforms are used whenever at the fire stations or when performing lighter, less dangerous activities.

The paramedics use the "light/off-duty" uniforms mentioned before, but when working in traffic, they got their own high-vis vest:

Firefighters uniform for Paris

The "heavy/full-intervention" uniform is fully Orange for Paris. Since it is already so bright, they don't need to wear a high-vis vest when working in traffic

Front (dont worry that it is in a museum, it is still new and used today  )

For the:

- "light/off-duty" uniforms (also used by paramedics)
- high-vis vests used by paramedics

the same models can be used, as the ones used for "entire France" since they are pretty much similar

United Kingdom
In the UK, Fire and Rescue services are organised on a regional level in England and Wales, and on a national level in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Wikipedia has a list of them here.

Logo
Most police and fire services have a badge based on the Maltese cross. This should make creating a 'generic' badge fairly easy. Some examples:
Cornwall
Lancashire
East Sussex
Scotland
South Wales

Uniforms
Modern uniforms, regardless of service, are mostly beige with yellow highlights, with black knee and elbow padding. For examples:

They generally either lack any writing on the uniforms, or may have 'FIRE' written on the back. In Wales, 'TÂN' is included beside the 'FIRE':

The London Fire Brigade's website specifies that they use Rosenbauer helmets. Other forces may use similar, if slightly lower-tech, "modern" firefighting helmet designs.

Regular firefighters wear yellow helmets, while white helmets are worn by managers. Additional markings reflect a specific rank.
