France Gendarmerie
The Gendarmerie mostly operates outside of "urban areas". Like the (highways and roads going through the) countryside
When intervening in traffic, they always must wear this specific safety/ high-vis vest

I think the uniform below is most suited for in game, long pants with a light jacket ( optionally a high-vis vest when operating in traffic) and "calot" on the head

I previously mentioned two emblems on the left and right shoulders, and the rank shoulderpieces. These indicate the different ranks and different gendarmerie units. As you can imagine there are many different ones, depending on rank, region, brigade etc. I think that the emblems mentioned below are a good general/all-rounder solution for the game, suspecting that one type of uniform is used for the entirety of France in the game

The emblem on the right side of the jacket (right as in, when wearing the jacket) depicts the unit
This was the most "general" I could find. Not sure if this one is used a lot in real life

The Emblem on the left side of the jacket (left as in, when wearing the jacket) depicts the region
There is no official, "general" French Flag version, so I chose the region of "Ile-de-France" region around Paris

Additionally, the police bikers always wear the same uniform
