i pray its not some FMOD capacity issue .. :(
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.

Maybe it'll be alleviated by using more CPU cores for data processing?

I don't believe it is. I just had it happen at Port of Seattle, just using hazards before I even turned the engine on.

Also if it was a capacity issue, would it also not happen to the wipers when raining? I have yet to lose wiper sounds.

It seems to me that perhaps this issue only appears on the exterior camera; have had no issues so far on the interior. And perhaps the same issue is present in the video shown here because the window is cracked open, letting in more exterior sound?

One thing I have noticed I only seem to have the issue on repetitive sound like indicator and wpass beeps.

Yesterday I had the issue with indicators again, however the traffic was extremely low (no one near me) and the windows were shut so very little ambient sounds.

The strange thing is other sounds don't have issues, like the RR Xing beeping, it is always constant. But other repeating sounds have issues occasionally :? .

this looks like the playback is to fast for FMod to catch up with the sound play

I drove for a bit tonight on build 1.37.0.92, and I didn't notice this problem. It seems like it might have been fixed. Can anyone else confirm that it has been fixed?

I just drove a T680 with a 13-speed transmission, and then a LoneStar with an 18-speed. I had the exact same problem I had been having with the T680, however there was zero sound cutting or anything of that nature with the LoneStar. I have not tested any other trucks yet; if I do I will make sure to post the results here.

On another note, I said awhile back in this thread that the issue only seemed to be presenting itself on the exterior camera to me. After further testing I've had it happen on the interior too, so I should have held off before saying something. Whatever the case it looks like some progress is finally being made with this issue with at least the LoneStar running perfectly, and hopefully that information can help SCS figure out what's wrong with any other trucks that still do this.
