Weight station ticket, California, External delivery [114728]
Weight station ticket, California, External delivery [114728]
I got 2 penalty tickets in California - for same reaason: my trailer configuration is illegal. $1500 each so is cheaper to not stop at weight station
This happens with standard trailer (no tandem or road train) '22T used packagings' cargo.
Riding with external delivery.
One station going from El Centro to San Diego just before Sand Diego
Second at north of Los Angeles somwhere at Interstate
Same delivery - 2 tickets...

the trailer might have been a 53' with the axles at the rear cause that setup is not allowed in California

Exactly, this might not be a bug but it could very well be the case that IGotGAME18 points out.
However, it is a good point that it would be cheaper to skip the weigh station than to stop and get a fine for the illegal trailer... I'm passing that forward. Thanks! QA id: 114728

I like trains.
...and trucks too.

california only allows 53ft trailer if the center of the front axle is at the same distance as the axle of a 48 ft trailer. I think it means the wheels have to be fully forward for that

A commercial driver who fails to enter an inspection station (weigh station) when lights are flashing or when indicated to enter (by any other mean) will be chased by the officer, charged for non-compliance and still could get checked on weight via the officer's portable scale. Because of the non-compliance from the driver, depending on the officer, he may finds defect(s) on the vehicle and charge the driver, the operator (company owner) and affect the company record as well as the driver record; if it's a mass issue the charge can go as far as the company who has loaded the vehicle (trailer).
This type of reasoning "it would be cheaper to skip the scale to get a smaller fine" might be true in-game but I recommend not to do that in real life because you will attract lots of troubles.

If the ticket was not cause of the trailer length it might be that your truck was to damaged cause the weight stations look at your truck condition also

Happened to me today. Lonestar with 18t of Ethan in a gas trailer, regular freight market. No mods, latest game version.
@IGotGAME18 Why should you get an illegal truck/trailer combination message, if your truck is too damaged? Mine had about 7% damage, I guess. Would have got an other message anyway... (fines turned off, but for other reasons...)
