They've made a choice for realistic over functional in this case. They used the CAD model provided by Mack and have stated that they aren't going to change it.

If you want properly functional views, you need 3 monitors. That way you can see both mirrors without having to twist/turn your view.

mhmmm... So SCS has two CAD versions. I bet AB Volvo dont.
