having checked the chassis I too noticed the old fixed tag is gone, replaced by this configuration, however the axle is not a steer axle and is not a lift axle, so technicall in that respect it is correct.

however, the way the chassis behaves in corners is wrong. it skews around the middle axle like a tag axle, it should skew around the rearmost axle, dragging the no2 axle sideways.

not quite.

the setup we have now is a typical UK setup where the no2 axle is merely an idler which neither lifts or steers. (just like we have here) however the pivot is wrong.

one is a 6x2, the other is a 6x2/4, those are 2 different chassis, the 6x2 has twin tires, one axle drive, a 6x2/2 is a chassis with single tire in the middle none lifted/steered or lifted/none steered

yeah but its pivot point is in the old position when its on full lock, it behaves like a fixed tag axle with the drive axles dragging themselves sideways

that isnt the problem, he reported a visual bug, the 6x2 chassis should have 2 sets of twin tires and not 1 set

i can also confirm it, the 6x2 has the wrong wheels mounted on the lead axle after the steering axle

or do all 6x2 chassis have a differential on the idle axle?
