Sweden Växjö->Jönköping: Speed limit signs doesn't change speed limit in GPS

OS: Manjaro Linux 20.2 (64-bit), kernel 5.4.85-1
Reproducable: Always


There are a few places around Sweden where 90-signs doesn't raise the speed limit of hauling truck to 80, which is expected. Here are a few of those places:

My interpretation of that is that those roads that split two lanes and one lane are not treated as 'motorway' and thus attract the lower 70 kph limit for trucks

Don't quote the previous post - Rule 2.12

That is how I interpret it as well, in which the issue is that in Sweden we have:

• Maximum top speed of 80km/h for trucks with trailers.

• Maximum top speed of 90km/h for trucks without trailers.

These speed limits are regardless of what kind of road you are driving on and applies to motorways/highways, dual carriageways, regular roads, gravel roads etc. etc.

I can imagine that the 90km/h speed limit for trucks without trailers might be something "new" in the game, but raising the default speed limit from 70 to 80 should be (in my inexperienced and amateurish knowledge) not too difficult to change? If so it would be highly appreciated

The same problem will you have have at Esbjerg, coming or going to from/to Esbjerg on Motorway, sign says 90, but GPS says 50
