Stuttering with own trailer [FIXED]
Re: Stuttering with own trailer
My biggest dream is to get this fixed
Re: Stuttering with own trailer
Hi. I tried a mem cache cleaner from https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/fix-g ... 09.420251/
there are a few of them to try. I tried 'FreeStandbyMemory.bat by AveYo' it's the 1st opion in the list. Without owned trailers the game was butter smooth, with owned trailers there was a percievable micro stutter but no pausing. So for the most part it does make a big difference using owned trailers. Perhaps it could be further tuned to ETS2's usage for those of us that suffer the problem we've been having or even one of the others on the site would be more effective.
I took a owned trailer loaded with 23T from Wroclaw to Jonkoping (sweden), approx 1,000Km.
My system -just in case there's a similar component to others with the same problem- is:
MSI A320M-A-Pro.
AMD Ryzen 3600.
16GB DDR4 Ram.
Nvidia RTX 2060.
Nothing is o/clocked, everything is standard as i've only had the new system for 2 months.
Hope this helps
Regards

Re: Stuttering with own trailer
Hi. The latest patch V1.40.3.25 fixed the stuttering issue for me. I wonder what it was that has been causing it>

I still have the stuttering on my end, even after the update. Maybe you just got lucky and didn't get the stutter today. There has been many times where I thought it was fixed, just to later be proven wrong by the return of the stuttering.
Re: Stuttering with own trailer
i can only agree with supersobes.
A long time i have tried all kind of settings and options and none really none did work or have solved the problem.
Sometimes you can drive for a long time even for day's on a new profile for example and then suddenly it appears again; Once that happens it keeps remaining and more often on that profile "Like it is broken" .
The behavior is only with owned trailers and does not matter wich one!
Without, even on that so called broken profile, the game runs so smooth even with g-sync on - ultra settings with nvidia 2070 on a 8700k 32gig m2-500 and a g-sync compatible screen 240hz at windows 10

Re: Stuttering with own trailer
That its why i have abandoned my original profile from begining of game with 100% map , lot of money and 1.500 000 km on clock ... I was thinking maybe save is so old and broken. Then I have test 26 profiles with diffrent mods , without mods and nothing ... :/ But best community ever wants more paintjobs than free of stutter game.

Knock on wood
Messing around in Iberia atm with an owned b-double refrigerator w/side doors
No stuttering so far neither did I have problems in Sweden nor Finland with similar setup

Hmmmm. All went well until i hit italy. I started from wroclaw and if i really concentrated and stared at a particular point in the distance, i could marginally see a very occational micro stutter, that is until i got to italy then back to noticable pausing, like it was accessing the hard drive (i have a new SSD). I should have kept quiet. Oh well.

I think it’s really not hardware related. I got a new strong rig with i7 11700k / RTX 3060 / 32 GB RAM , 1 TB M2 nvme ssd all steam parameters set properly and so on and the micro stutters are still there like on my old rig.
