Done some more testing too. Tested with all my mods (near 90), noticed interesting dependency of stutters on trailer customization. Check it up:

Bought scs low bed, changed skin color, wheels, mudflap etc - get usual stutters

Bought scs low bed WITHOUT customizing it (took dealers version without touching it) - NO STUTTERS

Bought scs curtainsider, customized it - stutter

Bought scs curtainsider without customizing it - stutter

Will test not customized configs of moded ownable trailers and report back.

Was the trailers with standard SCS items or modded items?
I am running vanilla only with keyboard and mouse (no stutters)

Quote removed - Don't quote the post above - Rule 2.12

standard. thing is if im not custonizing certain scs default trailers at all (not opening customization screen) it cause no stutters! got to try this with add-on mods such as doll panther or pacton container.

I've ran hawks "Dalton and Elliot highway" in ATS for years and in version v1.40.x of ATS, the Dalton became unplayable.. five and ten second freezes were happening in certain places on the map. I don't know which version it actually started on, because I went straight from v1.36/37 to v1.40.

Long story short.. "Disabling" the "FFB Damper effects" by putting the slider all the way to the left in, ATS > Options > Controls.. forcefeedback damper.
This solved the freezes instantly and after doing that I have not encountered any freezes or stuttering whatsoever.

<snip>
Thanks. Will give it a try! I started this bug-topic, as I want to be sure to follow the royal way to ask SCS to pay attention to it. I will let you know how it goes (I can reproduce stuttering quite easily in ETS2)

I am driving with the FFB plug-in from Supric. In order to get it work properly it is necessary to turn in game force feedback settings off. So nothing activated in there. I am getting stutters still. So it’s an interesting point but in my case it has no influence.

I have only 4 mods. 1 engine and 1 trans for MAN , computer for man , lower tremps in climate ( only this no heavy mod) , and unvisible road end barriers. As earlier. Any owned trailer = stutter. I have looked to ATS and ETS trailers files to compare and they are diffrent. Mayby EU trailers have to many parts or something ...

Hi guys. I started the debug thing (Console mode,rendering/show framerate), with the Error monitor at the bottom, Real Time in the center, and the Game Time at the top. Every time a stutter occured it showed a blip in Error and a small blip in the Real Time. When a pause occured, there was a big spike in the Error which showed up as a spike in the Reat Time -but with the peak flattened- and a small spike, again peak flattened in the top Game Time monitor. Now as this stutter/pausing begins in the Error Monitor, is this just due to using an ownable trailer.

Hi @barry .

Did you happen to see hoevenvd's post where he quoted me, three up from yours(#74)..
Did you try disabling FFB Damper in: ETS2/ATS Options > Controls > Damper feedback.?
