1.40 New Lightning System need to be optimised for old PC's [NOT A BUG]

Hello SCSSoftware! Your new Lightning system is very beautiful! But not everyone can enjoy it!
I have pretty old PC: Phenom II X4 945 3GHz, AM2 motherboard, 16Gb Ram and 1Gb GDDR3 Gigabyte 6570 videocart on 1680x1050 screen.
Before 1.40 Update I have avr FPS 20-25 at day, and 15-20 at night - when using lights, and this is on High graphic settings. That is fine for me I played many years like that.)
After 1.40 Update I have 20-22 without truck external lights, but when I press "L" - it immediately drops >60% to 8-9fps or even lower. That is way under playable level.
So there is only two options for Old PC users:
1. Riding without ANY lights ("L") in complete dark.
2. Or forget about Beauty of 1.40 Update and New Lightning System and get your lights on with 20-30 FPS on very minimum graphic settings.)

you are using a GPU that is a more worse then the minimum reacquired one (GTS450) on high settings, ofcs it will tank your FPS if you use settings that are not tested on a GPU that is more worse then the minimum one, reduce your settings

C'mon, there is no developer in this world that cares so much about that super old, low end segment of PC's like SCS already does. If the game didn't suffer many graphical changes and really got behind in technical aspects during a very long time is because they care SO much about old PCs. They even mentioned in a recent blog something like they didn't want to push the graphical changes further in order to not disturb performance so much of old pc users...so if it really works bad for you I think its time to upgrade your system, mate. You are below even than the low specs as CARL1992 says...

Yes, sorry about your problem but HD 6570 IS below min requirements GTS 450 to run the game

Recommended is a GeForce GTX 760-class (2 GB), counter
This is your options

If you prefer AMD cards go for an old HD 7970 if you have a 2nd hand store nearby
The market is a mess atm

I have run older versions of the game on an HD 7970, far from high settings but it was pretty neat not as jaggy as some nvidia cards

You must be realistic and face the reality mate, be happy you able to run the game on HIGH settings, you cannot expect higher performance from that GPU, come on.....

As other users said, you have to reduce the quality on your settings, no other choice. If you don't want to buy a more decent GPU that's the only thing remained to do, be happy it's still running on HIGH settings

1st: perfomance drop 2.5 times with new update!
2nd: if I could afford my self upgrade - I would not ask for optimisation.

yes. optimize your game by lowering your settings, SCS wont "optimize" the game to a weaker card then the GTS450

So far it was possible. Remember issue with blinkers and orange safety bacons? They fix it, not totally, but still better then 60% perfomance loss.
But from other side - ferries still crashing fps.

I'm really not sure if you're trolling or just actually too cheap to upgrade your PC. Although, nobody can blame you because of the situation recently.

Your PC is very old. I don't understand how 20 FPS is playable to you. Upgrade when you can cause the developers can't do miracles.
