Extremely low FPS and stutter only occurs with interior camera for me

I have the same problem with stuttering from inside the cabin. But it only happens in cities, not outside cities. Outside the vehicle it works properly without any problems. Although I note that it happens in all cities unrelated to the Iberian DLC.

Same here. I play ETS2 (no mods) on GTX 1070 - everything maxed. On old parts of the map I'm between 70 and 80 FPS. In Iberia I'm constantly below 60, very often at 40, sometimes even at 30 FPS. There is also occasional stuttering.

Stuttering with FPS drops in cities and on the motorways sometimes.

There is something though. I have the steam fps monitor on and even when it drops a few FPS below 60 it stutters.

Vsync is on. If I turn it off I get a lot of tear when I look left and right in the cabin.

same here fps drop so hard in iberia it happen in the city and some motorway drop from 120 to 55 sometime 45 i play with 2k resolution
my spec I5-6600k ram 16gb gtx 1060 6gb exoc game install on ssd

Try reduce the mirror settings. I went down from ultra to high on mirror distance and my stuttering reduced a lot. This map is very detailed and mirrors are like extra cameras and all of them renders the environment with it's details

Still does it a bit while on a RTX 3070 card but it doesn’t bother me though

I could not find a suitable topic, but found it. With the very first garnitsa with Iberia, stuttering began. On the highway, there may be 3-4 stuttering times. In the city of stuttering, reaching the level that you do not want to play.I can't understand what is the reason, in any other add-on there is no such thing, so for now my trip to Iberia is postponed either until this problem is fixed or until the PC is updated

For me, the game just freezes for a couple of seconds on a constant basis, sometimes this freeze-up lasts for several seconds, even up to around 40 seconds. The audio is still running normally.

What's interesting is that it only happens when I enter the Iberia region. Everywhere else in the game, I have little to no issues similar to that.
