menu's all have black background bug [SOLVED]

menu's such as the profile selection profile mods manager editing and making truck menu's pretty much all the menu's have a black background even black background when i edit and make trucks all i see is the options i can edit on the truck and menu stuff when i put my multimon to 4 the normal background is back but my screen is soo tiny i cannot read anything or see anything properly when i put it to 3 black background returns i have screenshots of the black background and the tiny screen when the background is back to normal but the screen of the game is tiny i see no errors on the gamelog but i will provide the gamelog for people to look see if i have missed anything i got no mods that should effect the background of the menu's i tried deleting my config and getting a new config does not work i verified my game files everything seemed fine i tried everything i can i know this is a bug as the mods i got active do not effect the background or anything like that if you need any other screenshots like of the background of the truck editing screens and stuff let me know also this also happens on ets2 also when 1.40.0.0.92 came the black background appeared when i logged into ats after the update plus i cannot be the only person having this issue

Reset your graphics settings, it should solve the issue.

when i put it on medium graphics the background is but i have to have it on low as my pc is not a gaming pc and when graphics on low the black background appears when i edit the settings the background goes to black again plus i tried deleting my config which does reset my graphic settings did not work

If the background is black in low settings then it should be considered a bug. My suggestion is to use the bug report section to make a report. In my case, I wasn't playing ATS for 2 weeks then I opened the game & found the issue, I customize the settings & it was fixed.

every menu wether editing truck or selecting profile mmaking a truck or teleporting to another garage there black background bug happend since opengl changes came in a beta update creenshots will be posted also the game log also when i put graphics on medium background is back when i put on low black background returns this also happens on ets2 just found a error on gamelog i didnt notice that has to do with this screenshots and game log will be below and i hope im not the only one with this bug it also happens in ets2 for me

i hope this aint just me having this issue as its still happening to me i tried everything i can to solve the issue i think this is a 1.40 bug i may be wrong feel free to let me know if it is or not i think the config files generated in the 1.40 beta for me are corrupted feel free to anyone send a message if they had this issue it just suddenly appeared to me when i logged into ats on one of the beta updates for opengl it wasnt like before scs changed the opengl stuff it also happend on ets2

As you are trying to run 1.40 OB (1.40.0.98) use mods at your own risk
Try a clean profile without mods with this game version or revert to 1.39

NO MODS IN 1.40 OB if you want to report bugs, as a lot of things has changed and old mods are NOT valid, MODS DOES NOT WORK

Go to advanced graphics settings. If scaling is set to 50% or below, "blackness" is a known issue. Should be fixed by choosing a higher scale.

thanks it was the scaling i had it at 25% cause my pc isnt the best it isnt a gaming computer lol thanks for letting me know
