you can change the email in profile settings, can't you?

Yes, you can. To change your email for your forum account, go to: User Control Pannel > Profile > Edit Account Setting. To change your World of Truck email, go to: My Page > Account Options.

Alternatively, if changing your email and sending emails to companies is too much of a process for a simple task of deleting an account, you could just forget about it and not use that account?
I couldn't even try to remember and count the number of old abandoned accounts I've had over the years.
I've only ever purposfuly deleted one account, and it was an old Facebook account my brother set up for me. I used it for about a month and deleted it, vowing never to return to the likes of Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.
