I hope Carthoo didn't abandon us again! So that we don't have to wait another few months he to come online again!
I love SCS Software

@Nemiro Can't you just make an announcement somewhere or an integrated "news letter" inside the game? xD

Guys, at 10pm WoT will be restarted, finish your jobs untill then xD

@Wacky Geek I was thinking the same thing just yesterday. Honestly, I am starting to think it was someone else that possibly logged in for him. Its unlike Carthoo to come in and not say anything after such an absence. So I think its a bit odd.

Intriguing, a DLC-only event and with a fairly lofty goal. I guess this will give us some insight into how many people buy map DLC on release.

Not taking part in that because I like taking my sweet time with exploring new map DLCs. I just continue doing my long trips to whatever state it leads me - eventually I end up in a new city, even if it takes months in some cases. That way I see something new after a while, keeping the game interesting. Exploring everything new asap just ends up with me being burned out the game and not playing it for ages.

Still, interesting event and reward (the cabin bling).

@AnnaKarelia I have to agree. I usually like taking 3-4 weeks to explore a state versus trying to discover everything in 1 week. This type of event goes better for Montana and Texas. Do it with those and it works better. It does promote the state at least. Its funny how the blog has a guy complaining that its not fair that this event is only for the new dlc. Buy the dlc, then and problem solved. Only other option is if SCS gave like a 24hr pass to demo Idaho. Or perhaps like a 2-4 hr pass. Once you activate it and your time is out, that's it. Buy it or leave it. No point in complaining.

Map DLC is required for the profile. If someone took a trial on it on their main profile and didn't buy it then their main profile would be locked until they bought it.

And you know how many silly people are out there.
