MS can afford that, SCS don't

Forget any kind of possibility for an open multiplayer of any kind or of hosted servers by SCS. If we ever have an official MP, it's going to be in the form of closed servers that we will have to setup, maintain and administer. So, if a server will have not enough capacity, or good latency or has a problem with trolls, there will be the players on charge of that private server who will have to deal with all of that. SCS isn't going to bleed tons of money to be the nurses of nobody. That would be their grave.

also, SCS can modify the game in however way they want, in engine videos are a thing, it is easy to direct AI in a defined line and just add paintjobs on it

This is what I think. If we set up our our small servers, how can SCS be at fault on Steam. You can't blame SCS if you get kicked off private servers for stupidity. Even I'd play then.

The town is Las Cabezas de San Juan, in Sevilla province.

That's the plastic sea in El Ejido (Almería), a GIANORMOUS area of greenhouses surrounded by desert that can be seen from space. Nice place though, in less than 1 hour by car you can find snow every winter (Spanish Sierra Nevada).

Ohh nice. Those mountains should look pretty sweet in the game. Looks like the road is all along the coast. So mountains on one side and the coast on the other. Should be a nice drive.

IRL it's a weird drive. Because the whole area is enormous (for European measures, I know in the States you are used to big terrain extensions) and you only see white plastic greenhouse one after another and another... Seems unreal, really, gives a strange feeling about something isn't right.

it's named the SEA of plastic for a good reason. Consider that data: there is so much white surface in there that the increased albedo (the amount of sun light reflected back to the sky) makes the whole area average temperatures always 2 to 3 degrees under the surroundings.

dk00? wrote: 10 Oct 2020 15:10 If the launcher was for coaches, why would they start ATS, which there has been no demand for coaches with it instead of going where coaches have a demand with ets2.

This is for something else be it multi-player or a new version of wotr.
1. So the launcher would be the same as ETS2's, for consistency.
2. Because the exact moment coaches are added to ETS2, they will suddenly be the biggest demand for ATS out of "fairness", just like every other time something gets added to only one game. Might as well prepare for that now.
