[ARCHIVED] SCS General Discussion Thread
Re: SCS Blog discussion
I'm quite far away from the UK to be thinking about visiting
However, I did just find somethign very old which happens to have info of all THESE trucks! I've put them all in a list as you can see, I'd scan all the pages which have specs and pics but I don't have a scanner so rip xD
I wonder how many of you know these

Re: SCS Blog discussion
Too bad, I'm near Oxford UK, don't have a car and couldn't find any transport.
I looked at coaches, would have been about 5 hour trip each way, and trains would have been getting towards 4x the ticket price.
Hopefully another year or so I'll finally make it to my first truckfest...

Re: SCS Blog discussion
I do hope that SCS brings their Sim Trailer to North America at some point. I posted this Tweet to encourage both SCS and the North American truck companies.

Re: SCS Blog discussion
do you know what an logistic nightmare this would be for SCS
not only the transport of the trailer itself, but possible a truck so to not be surprised if the US trucks dont fit the kingpin, and all the legal stuff they have to do also
i dont think they will com to the US with the trailer in the foreseeable future

Re: SCS Blog discussion
I guess it will not be a problem. They only need the 40ft container were the simulator seats are built in

Re: SCS Blog discussion
What? The entire thing is built in a container, just put it on a ship alone and reach to Paccar to borrow or rent a truck&trailer setup and they are ready to ride the sim trailer on USA

Re: SCS Blog discussion
Even if SCS can't bring their Sim Trailer, it still would be nice for them to visit the USA again.

Re: SCS Blog discussion
Pretty sure the only logistical thing for SCS to bring their sim rig here is just the cost of putting the container itself on a ship to bring it here, and then flying staff over. SCS would then probably rent a truck from PACCAR or Ryder and rent a gooseneck trailer for the container.
