Aren't paintjob packs usually cheaper than that?

Pack of paintjobs purchased, I will not use. I bought to support SCS in future updates. They need our money, we need them for new content. Thank you SCS, continue the hard work!

They did it this way because they can get away with it. It's just a sensible business decision, "minimally viable product" and all that.
I'll let you keep that mindset if that's your opinion, I'll keep mine. There are different sizes and lengths so its not a one size fit all if you want the graphic to center on the trailer correctly. Some are the similar but not all. I'll provide the list of boxed trailers for you for both games. I am no skinner but I am sure each of these trailer types have to be addressed individually. To me, its a lot, its not just 3-4 to do. ATS is perhaps easier because the pup doubles and triples are the same as the lead trailer as well as the trail for RMDs. All NA trailers in the game are the same box too.

ETS2 18 types
curtainsider, curtainsider b-double, curtainsider double
dry freighter, dry freighter b-double, dry freighter double
insulated, insulated b-double, insulated double
refrigerated, refrigerated b-double, refrigerated double
krone cool liner
krone dry liner
krone profi liner
krone profi liner double
schwarzmuller tarpaulin platform
schwarzmuller refrigerated

ATS 19 types
chip van
sliding tarp, sliding tarp doubles, sliding tarp RMD, sliding tarp triple
dry van, dry van doubles, dry van RMD, dry van triple
hopper, hopper RMD
insulated, insulated double, insulated RMD, insulated triple
refrigerated, refrigerated double, refrigerated RMD, refrigerated triple

double and b-double is the same, there is no difference if the smaller trailer body is in front or back, uses same body

I didn't even account for the b-double nor TPD in ATS but they'd be the same too as they are still just doubles.

if the sizes are the same it will use the same body, SCS did it the smart way, why model 2 bodys that are 1:1 the same if you can just reuse, HCTs are the same, 2 normal semi trailers, almost exact copy of them except the chassis on trailer 1

I guess by color preset, that they mean there's the same paintjob...but with different colors(which can be changed anyway)?
I'm going to buy the pack.I've prepared a Renault Range T anyway.

EDIT : looks like the mod i'm using isn't working well with the new paintjobs. That was to be expected.
