Actros/Arocs SLT are "up to 250 tons in default configuration" and the similar trucks from Scania and Volvo have identical specifications.

61 tons is peanuts, any decent powered 6x4 can haul that cargo. Volvo made a show with a 750 HP truck and a 750 tons road train just to show that traction is not a problem for a 6x4. Or look at the american heavy duty trucks, they can pull 200 tons with a 6x4 chassis and usual diff/gearbox ratios and usual tourque/power engines.

Just because some companies have just one or two special haulage trucks and they use them even they are overqualified for that job doesn't mean they are mandatory. :)

These trucks dont allways work on nice roads. I am sure the weight spread, traction plus other factors are important too.

Spread in Europe is around 10 tons on a single tire axle, doesn't make too much of a difference. And the supplemental steering axle we have in game is not powered, so is not a problem of traction either.

Hey, so I've been out of the loop for quite a while, but I ended up on the Steam page for the Italy expansion and it says it should be available later this year. Can anyone speak to the accuracy of this date, by any chance? Is this just an early guess or is this something we can reasonably expect? Thanks!

SCS controls the Steam page, so your guess is as good as ours to the accuracy of it. ;)

Ah ok, thanks!

I don't have a problem with waiting an extended period of time for it, I was just wondering whether to go through the hassle of upgrading my game or to wait for the Italy pack :p Since the France pack is still relatively recent, I figured we'd have to wait a couple of years for Italy.

Now we are most likely seeing 1 map DLC per year for ETS and ATS maybe reach 2 maps per year

That was an official blog-statement from august, to be found here.

The most important part of this sentence is the first word: If. In such developments you can only make vague plans, and there is always a tendency to "later" instead of "sooner". Because it is hard to plan how long ironing-out errors will take. Why? Because you can't plan errors.

I've already saw people around here asking what's the diference between 100% and 400% scale..

So, I decided to create a comparison:

Left one is at 400% and right image is at 100%.

Let the Italy DLC be the first where you start this kinda addition (if Italy hasn't already opted for white LED street lights).
So its so low on the list or maybe not even on the list that none of us actually want to talk about it less want it? :|
