The cursor 16 is very heavy, and this is not so good for a truck.
Is one of the reason iveco took out "THE V8" from their truck some year ago.
By the way, V8 still present in the fiat group, with a very big machine (20liter).

Yes, the Vector is an impressive engine, 20.1 Liters, maximum power (for now, it has just been strengthened) of 920 hp, 4100nm torque and V8! But the Vector at this moment it is only used for the New Holland FR forage harvester series

@Trident
No, it isn't too heavy for a truck, and you have to consider that it was presented like this: powerful as a 18, as big as a 13 ;)
Then my hope is that in the next generation of Iveco trucks it will be used on the Stralis ;)

Can we move these comments to a different topic? Or start a new one for this?
I'm not really interested in IVECO engines for pages in the blog topic.

I don't know about that... I thought so too, but than I moved to Norway... and here, more trucks are higher powered versions than not. Easier to spot a 750 FH16 than a 540, for example. Same goes for R730 vs. a non-v8 Scania...

I'm wondering when the next SCS Blog post will come? I've been expecting a new WoT Event ever since the last one ended weeks ago. I was starting to hope that SCS would have WoT events going pretty much non-stop, and it makes even more sense for them to do one really soon with all the new content they've released, plus it's Christmas, and last years WoT Christmas event was super fun!

Well I really hope the WoTR event comes soon! Surprised it hasn't started already tbh, guess it's something to look forward to for this weekend instead...
