Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
On the I40 from Albuquerque to Tucumcari, near Albuquerque there is a road that comes off the I40 and merges back on shortly after. It is that road, it is also marked. Infact if you monitor the ATS OB change logs, you'll have noticed earlier in the week they mention resupporting the sound for it with FMOD.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
A question I have about the Fmod integration is whether it will finally make one of my wishlist items from years ago possible: integrate the in-game radio into the truck cab.
I don't think it's done yet, at least I haven't seen anyone mention it, but I presume Fmod makes this a technical possibility for the future?
(I mean that the in-game radio should feel like it's coming from within the truck, positional from the truck's speakers so it changes as you move your head, whereas currently it's just a layer within the game, applied universally on top of the truck sounds.)

@Ilmiont +1 for that. And if there are still those that would like to hear the radio the same from any cam position, there can be a simple option to keep it as it is now.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Would also be awesome to get the radio informations on the screen inside the cab.

One thing I would like (not related to FMOD) is an advanced version of the in-cab GPS, basically put a HUD on the GPS screen that displays destination info like ETA, remaining miles, and the current day/time.

I would love to have that as well. And maybe a display that shows how many hours of driving I have left before rest.
The smallest details always make the biggest difference.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Speaking of resting, it would be nice if we are allowed to choose the time of resting (<=9 hrs for ETS)
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
There was a post about making the truck tachographs display the in-game driving time remaining in the wishlist thread (I think) a while ago and one of the devs said they'd even thought of it before but it was a good idea.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Every time some one brings this up (in a more appropriate area of the forum) it's usually been stated that it's not possible because the text wouldn't be readable as the gps image is low quality compared to the HUD version.
