Re: SCS Blog discussion
That' not so bad. The previous one didn't really work. Sadly the best one is the one they can't really use.

The dinosaur from 18WoS is back?
What do you bet that this is just a joke played on us?

Seniors got an ETS2 birthday gift, we finally got a dedicated senior testing branch like ATS has.
*insert SteamDB screenshot of branch here, I'm too lazy*

5 years of awsomeness and dedication, despite people bi***ing around all the time
I hope that as a birthday gift SCS will end non-Steam (legacy/retail) support today, to finally open up for the better future.

Re: SCS Blog discussion
Happy birthday to ETS2 ... the game that got me interested in trucks, from there got me interested in coaches and then effectively crafted my future ambitions. The influence this "game" has had on me is quite profound looking back in retrospect... but I have to credit it to SCS and this fantastic example of PC simulation gaming. Before I discovered ETS2 I knew nothing at all about trucks. After a few months I was eagerly truckspotting on the roads. With my knowledge of trucks rapidly growing, I was finally inspired to find out what the coaches I was travelling to school on actually were underneath. Eventually the interest in coaches became stronger than trucks - probably because I've never actually been in a truck, while in my school years I used to ride coaches daily - and now I'm keenly interested in running my own transport businesses, eventually.
ETS2 is ... so much more than a game to me. My relaxation, my inspiration, my motivation... and at the end of the day, an excellent vehicle simulation and a glowing example of excellence in the PC game industry. Five years in and still going strong, with upcoming content looking better than ever. To you SCS, congratulations, thank you, and may this support keep on coming!
As for birthday gifts... shouldn't we be gifting things to SCS ? I hope the money I've invested into ETS2/ATS over the years buying every Steam DLC counts. Of course, if anything were to appear today... well, I'm ready to help fund any SCS celebrations
